Multilingual Learner Program (MLP)
ABOUT MLP
South Burlington School District Multilingual Learner Program (MLP) is dedicated to ensuring that students who have a primary or home language other than English receive equal educational opportunities. Our MLP teachers are experts in second language acquisition and content knowledge, delivering high-quality instruction. Students in the MLP face the dual challenge of learning academic content while simultaneously developing their English language skills. Our program supports these students from kindergarten through high school, helping them achieve proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
